Re: What's Happening

Hello all my friends - Life continues to amaze and enchant me. I have grown silent as I have grown more filled with spirit, not sure what else to call it. I checked my blog the other day and it now gets over 30 views a week! Wow! I remember feeling so inadequate as a human being and as someone who had things to say. But never, ever believe that - we all matter. Remember the Lord of the Rings - "even the smallest of us". Probably don't have the quote correct but you get my gist..............

My life.................

I have changed and my world has changed along with me -

Meet my new grandson Colin - to say that I am in love again is not big enough -

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v649/Connie1947/Connie1947003/Colin%20and%20Rusty.jpg

Rusty has claimed  him and will be his new best friend forever.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v649/Connie1947/Connie1947003/Colin%20loves%20his%20bath.jpg

Look deep into those eyes. Ahhh...............this is why we keep coming back here isn't it.

http://montalk.net/metaphys/117/stages- … -awakening

It is imperative that we awaken from mundane awareness into full spiritual remembrance of who we are. The problem is that even when physically awake, we can still be mentally asleep, unaware of ourselves and entirely absorbed in whatever mechanical impulse or external stimulus captures our attention. This state of confluence, or mental absorption, keeps us in an unproductive dream state.

The common understanding of what it means to be “awake” disguises the truth, which is that despite walking around with eyes open, people tend to nonetheless be hypnotized, dimly conscious, sleepwalking, daydreaming, or in a state of trance. What all these states have in common is that the conscious core of the individual is absent or passive, blowing like a leaf in the winds of environmental stimuli.

In dreams we might make the strangest “logical” associations that amount to no logic at all, have little say in what happens to us, do things impulsively, and fail to question our reality or observe ourselves. Compare this to how people tend to behave in everyday life, the anecdotes and gossip they speak, how they might communicate via recitations of lines from movies or TV shows, speak in trite memetic phrases without conscious thought or originality, engage in ludicrous programmed behavior, engross themselves in petty dramas, and switch between goofy or borrowed personalities. For them, dreams do not end in the morning.

The world is an insane asylum but society is too asleep to notice the insanity. Just as you may not question insane dreams while having them, some people never question their insane lives. The implications of mass somnambulism is obvious: with billions of people asleep, those in power who are awake have the advantage. Sleeping people are easily controlled. Their conscious core exists within a mental prison, harvested for time, labor, and energy. They possess little or no freewill because they have abandoned the awareness necessary to harness it.

The mind and body can be asleep or awake independently of each other. With mind and body awake, one is truly awake. With mind and body asleep, one is dreaming. With mind awake and body asleep, one is lucid-dreaming. With mind asleep and body awake, one is sleepwalking. Gradations exist between these four states, ranging from hypnotism and trance to daydreaming and dim consciousness.

Awaken my friends .......................

Re: What's Happening

Life continues to amaze and astound, and grow ever more beautiful and profound. It seems the older you get the more your heart rules your life and the wonder grows and grows.

The joy of life is also full of hurts and worries, they are always nearby. But somewhere deep inside is a voice that tells me, you can handle this one way or the other. Live it and keep swimming.

I so love all of you back. And all those questions we ask, keep asking them. If it matters to you it's important.

And finding this wonderful video, and I just knew that I just had to share it with my friends here............

It is all so perfect and continues to unfold in ever increasing astonishment. You are the only you in the universe and you are a time traveler. Enjoy the journey. And all those loved ones that have gone away.............don't worry they are nearby. Always.

Re: What's Happening

It seems we are all quiet and introspective lately. That is not a bad thing but really a good thing. The greatest quest of all is learning to "know thine ownself". So hard though isn't it? And knowing oneself and accepting oneself is the battle of the ages. So much glittery gloss to blind us all with.

So much to numb your brain with. I have learned that my brain is not to be trusted. But my heart (if I let it rule) is always true. It seems mostly the world tries to kill our hearts and one must ask why this is so?

I love finding old posts on my blog that astound me, and seem so very much like a secret message from my future self to my future self who can now see.

Stirring here lately, and feeling the call but still resting and studying and just loving, loving, loving it all.

" But the real question is -- are you 'The gate-keeper or the Key holder' ? "

"the reason i think the whole idea of the warriors of the light thing exists is because of the belief system of the gnostics, which always draws me in. because of this. the feeling that there is a mission and yet being detached. as in being a gatekeeper or being a key holder. thats a fun mission wrought with danger. it is dangerous to be born says Yada (mark probert). being a warrior of the light as a stranger in a strange land. getting more and more strange all the time. not feeling like from here, wizard of oz dorothy trying to get home. " quoting my very dear fellow traveler, zenden.

Ah all the wonderful travelers one meets on the road to one's own self.

Philip K. Dick, The Divine Invasion

22. "Time is speeding up. And to what end? Maybe we were told that two thousand years ago. Or maybe it wasn't really that long ago; maybe it is a delusion that so much time has passed. Maybe it was a week ago, or even earlier today. Perhaps time is not only speeding up; perhaps, in addition, it is going to end."

24. @ The belief that we are pluriforms of God voluntarily descended to this prison world, voluntarily losing our memory, identity and supernatural powers (faculties), all of which can be regained through anamnesis (or, sometimes, the mystical conjunction), is one of the most radical religious views known in the West.

@ First, we are here voluntarily. We did not sin and we were not punished; we elected to descend. Why? To infuse the divine into the lowest strata of creation in order to halt its decomposing - the sinking of its lower realm. This points to a primordial crisis in creation in the total macrocosm.

@ The divine has triumphed at all levels; the prison is burst, and the vast, light-filled garden kingdom restored as the home of all creatures. These now whole creatures, composed equally of yin and yang, are what I term homoplasmates: The yin part is home (as we know ourselves to be now, only), and the light or yang part is the plasmate or energy part (vs. the physical). Thus renewed and complete microcosms mirroring the renewed and complete macrocosm are achieved. Reality is imparted to the otherwise irreal lower realm, and the upper realm now extends physically into the realm of matter. The integrity of the Godhead is restored; its two halves function in harmony; and the primordial split (or crisis) is resolved - healed.

26. "What can one say in favor of the suffering of living creatures in this world? Nothing. Nothing, except that it will by its nature trigger off revolt or disobedience -- which in turn will lead to an abolition of this world and a return to the Godhead. It is the very gratuity of the suffering that most of all incites rebellion, incites a comprehension that something in this world is terribly, terribly wrong. That this suffering is purposeless, random, and unmerited leads ultimately to its own destruction -- its and its author's. The more fully we see the pointlessness of it the more inclined we are to revolt against it. Any attempt to discern a redemptive value or purpose in the fact of suffering merely binds us more firmly to a vicious and irreal system of things -- and to a brutal tyrant that is not even alive. "I do not accept this" must be our attitude. "There is no plan in it, no purpose." Scrutinizing it unflinchingly, we repudiate it and aid in the repudiation of all delusion. Anyone who makes a pact with pain has succumbed to the artifact and is its slave. It has done in another victim and obtained his consent. This is the artifact's ultimate victory: The victim colludes in his own suffering, and is willing to collude in a willingness to agree to the naturalness of suffering in general. Seeking to find a purpose in suffering is like seeking to find a purpose in a counterfeit coin. The "purpose" is obvious: It is a trick, designed to deceive. If we are deceived into believing that suffering serves -- must serve -- some good end, then the counterfeit has managed to pass itself off and has achieved its cruel purpose."

But consider who we really are. Or once were and will be again. Who else can do it? There is no one else.

Re: What's Happening

Wonderful, as usual Siri Arc. Are you as amazed as I at the change in the world? The refugee crisis in Europe and all of the good it is bringing to hearts around the world. I have never been so uplifted and amazed as I am today.

Is it truly because by changing myself I change my world?

I am awash with wonder and joy and......................HOPE.

Love, love to all..........

1.

What can a single poem inspire?

What can one verse induce?

One poem can offer an outlet for healing.

A distinct lyric can allow connection to occur.

One poem can lead to the most unlikely friendship.

A single stanza can change the fate of a forest.

A real story, a real poem, real people and your heart will rejoice. We are becoming amazing. And hearts grow stronger.
