Re: i drew a picture tonight

My eyes are human (or at least partly, for the time being). I've met some nice lizards, don't be so quick to judge wink I'm partial to geckos & chameleons. hjarta I'd probably get one or two if i weren't afraid of one of my cats hurting it.
I'm not used to drawing faces, still need a lot of practice.
Here's one i did of some guy..

Re: i drew a picture tonight

molly, not only do you have a great imagination, but your draftsmanship is quite good.

I should know, I was an art director, illustrator before I got out of advertising and into xray.

And that colorful kitty corral you made shows you're not afraid to use color!

You have all the ingredients to become a wonderful artist.

But like they say to musicians "don't quit your day job" by that I mean, be sure to
have something you do that brings in money while you create your masterpieces!
(until you're famous, that is!)

Re: i drew a picture tonight

You see colors? That's interesting since they're just pencil on a white canvas (black & white).
Maybe i missed something..sorry, i'm tired.
Thanks, Tom smile
Yep, i'd love a 'real job' too, so i can buy more supplies. Hopefully the IRS gets their thumb out of their butts soon on the whole identity theft issue. There's an opening for a part time position at the shop i have jewelry for sale in. It's only 2 months work but it's to help out with some art & sewing projects, hopefully they'll squeeze me in.

Re: i drew a picture tonight

hi molly,
Yes I know those were black and white.
I was referring to a picture (photo) that had all these color markers around a kitty cat that you posted
a while back.

Re: i drew a picture tonight

HAHAHA the Rainbow Wall of Happiness smile
I wonder how the heck someone was able to stack all of those around the cat & it not knock them down before the photo was taken..that right there is a work of art itself tongue

i wish i could see rainbows flowing off black & white pictures... visslar

Re: i drew a picture tonight

The thing about art is that it's personal.  It doesn't have to look like one of the old masters or even a new one!  Your art is your perspective on things, and we are drawn (geeze, puns) to it.  That makes it more than just doodling for yourself.  You have many talents, and we enjoy them!  storstark
