Re: Is the Universe a Simulation?

Thank you Val. I feel like I am in the stream again and open to it all.

One of those days of looking inwards. Some days I feel magical and how I use some great magic to direct beautiful things that were meant to be seen by me at the right time when they have a deep, deep meaning -

Today is one of those days -
Life is what you make of it

(simple yes, but so, so deep and so so true)

The Art of Developing a Beautiful Mind

I used to have vivid dreams that seemed like messages beamed into my head from a different universe. It seemed to be sending me messages of things to come and lessons to learn. So pay attention. I did. I wrote them down and searched for answers. I had a dream of an Indian man walking and walking over the earth looking for something. Searching and searching for some special thing that he had to find. Each night the same dream and each night he traveled and traveled. No one would help him. And he continued to look for "a maker". He searched and I wanted so to help him. One night he walked up to a house and I opened the door. He said he had come for me because I was a "maker". I have put that dream away so many times and said I was silly. But I have never forgotten it.

A blessing for all makers..........

When you finally realize that we are all makers, we each create our world. God gave us each free will. So when you learn you are responsible for all of it. Hard, hard to grasp. But someday you will.

Jeff Kripal at TedX Houston: The Art of Making the Impossible Possible

For some reason this video fell off our radar when it was released in 2013 (but it's never too late to correct that mistake): Jeffrey Kripal, professor of Philosophy and Religious Studies at Rice University, and the author of Mutants and Mystics and Authors of the Impossible, spoke at TedX Houston in 2012 about the literary quality of what we call 'paranormal' phenomena, and how these experiences tend to disrupt the either/of logic we are conditioned to use in our modern world, because they have an external component as well as an internal one --often deeply personal and meaningful to the experiencer.

It is because of this ambiguity that many great artists are drawn and inspired by these kind of events, which also hint at the pivotal role Consciousness may play in the scaffolding of Reality itself.

I have finally, finally understood how very beautiful my life is..............the gift of it all.

Is the universe a hologram?

Science seems to be proving this the state of our universe.

And if this is true it brings with it so many, many questions .........

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quantum_teleportation

Quantum teleportation is a process by which quantum information (e.g. the exact state of an atom or photon) can be transmitted (exactly, in principle) from one location to another, with the help of classical communication and previously shared quantum entanglement between the sending and receiving location. Because it depends on classical communication, which can proceed no faster than the speed of light, it cannot be used for superluminal transport or communication of classical bits. It also cannot be used to make copies of a system, as this violates the no-cloning theorem. Although the name is inspired by the teleportation commonly used in fiction, current technology provides no possibility of anything resembling the fictional form of teleportation. While it is possible to teleport one or more qubits of information between two (entangled) atoms,[1][2][3] this has not yet been achieved, if it is possible, between molecules or anything larger. One may think of teleportation either as a kind of transportation, or as a kind of communication; it provides a way of transporting a qubit from one location to another, without having to move a physical particle along with it.

Hmmm I pose the question does anyone really know how our brains work and communicate?

And that question on "entanglement"?

Re: Is the Universe a Simulation?

http://www.wakingtimes.com/2015/01/09/n … hic-brain/

The purpose of this article is to provide evidence that strongly indicates that you are not your brain, or your body for that matter, and that the nature of mind, of memory, and of our brains may actually be vastly different than we have been lead to believe.

http://jonlieffmd.com/blog/q-a-with-wil … ign=buffer

Many of the previous posts in Searching for the Mind have documented the cognitive abilities of cells, microbes, even viruses and perhaps jumping genes and prions. It is reasonable to consider that this active cognitive ability in cells influences evolution. Other posts have noted that in all animals, including humans, there are ten times as many microbes, and hundred times more viruses than the total number of cells in the animal—all with their own DNA. Therefore, if you consider the DNA from the microbes, human beings, actually, have 3 million genes not 24 thousand.

So, where do these millions of genes figure into the mind theory?  Are we even thinking our own thought, considering.

Re: Is the Universe a Simulation?

Oh I am so enjoying reading these wonderful links and the thoughts that they bring. It is high spring here and oh so very luxurious with each day bringing another bird back from their winter vacation. This year they have gifted me with building their nests all around my home instead of in the forest. I have robin's nests everywhere there is a spot to build a nest. House wrens abound in all the little houses I have placed. The loud noisy bluejays have also decided to live nearby and tons of them visit my feeders all day long. There is no fighting they all take their turns at the feeders and bring nothing but joy.

Just wanted to share this little brain tingle that landed nearby today -

"Everything in existence is crying out for a particular quality of consciousness that only humans can give. This doesn’t mean we are superior to nature, only that there’s an incredible need for a certain cooperation. The famous mystic Rudolph Steiner has said that for the agricultural process to happen, for seeds and plants, and trees to grow, birdsong is absolutely essential. This is a beautiful truth that very few people know. But we also need to take what he said one stage further, because birds call and sing not only to quicken plants: they also call to awaken the human seed that we are. They are actually singing for our sake as well.

If we can start to listen to them, really listen, they will draw us into this greater consciousness I have been talking about. They will be our teachers, because nature is able to point us to our inner nature. …We are called to be there. When we can listen to what the birds have to say, to what nature has to say, and when we perceive the beauty of nature, then we are completing the circle and returning this physical world to its source through our own consciousness."

–Peter Kingsley in an interview with PARABOLA, Spring 2006 from the issue “Coming To Our Senses.”

Your love has a fierce majesty that cannot be matched;
Your love has a tenacious magnificence that cannot be contained or measured.
You of the Human Race stand alone of the many Races within the dimensional universes in your capacity to love and in your ability to care.
You stand alone in the way you love and in the way you care - in the way you care for each other.
Others love, but none like you do - Others care but none like you do.

Re: Is the Universe a Simulation?

Thankyou SiriArc, if only I could find the words that would let you know how much you have inspired me to keep on. smile

I feel magic in the air, oh sure there is chaos and pain aplently. It hurts to be in labor. Today I found this link http://teilhard.com/about/

Someday we will "birth" the Noosphere -

Today is Mother's Day and the love that is being sent out there into the Noosphere via Facebook and Twitter is astounding. Then I arrive to post and find a message from Molly that she is a new Mom. How wonderful and so glad to hear you are still nearby Molly. Missed you!

I wanted to share this and the above link

If you are in Labor, Lean In.

There is a revolutionary creativity in the air. It is preparing the way for you, even now, in this moment, where you feel stuck, or trapped.

There is wildness and madness about. The world is disjointed. It has not had enough aliveness in it, for generations.

You, you with your cracking, your cackling, your long-drive gaze and your refusal to believe in the magic show after meeting the wizard behind the curtain: You are the one who came here to clear the way forward.

You, with your one hand holding the heavens, and the other reaching to those who have fallen into the tar. You are the return of peace, of prosperity, of creative power.

If your shadow valley is steeper than most, deeper than most, you are destined for greatness. On the other side of this black-smoke terrain there are thousands, or millions of souls chanting your name, quietly, in the spaces between heartbeats. These are the drums you've been hearing in the dark night.

Someplace in the deep beneath, the world knows who you are meant to become. It has waited for you all its life. It knows that you suffer because it cannot cry. It knows that you feel for millions of hearts. To you, it feels burdensome, but to the the world you are a pulsating miracle forming out of the ether before its very eyes, and even the atmosphere holds its breath, in anticipation of your  full arrival, your total embodiment.

If you are in labor, lean in. It's going to take a while. Let the space around you remain clean, remain holy. This is no time for letting the dramas and projections of confused minds enter the kingdom.

No! Reject any invitation to participate in anything that does not support your labor. You are birthing the christed child, the embodied soul-self for the single purpose of serving Creation. Let not small matters distract you. Let not small minds destroy your peace. Focus on the One Love emerging. Protect your nest with all the fierceness you can muster.

The suffering that causes others to attempt to drag you into the tar pit is exactly why you have chosen to do this. It is the only way to bring the mighty grace to the ground. Let it be enough. Do not let the world hang from your breasts and suck you dry, that you've not enough left to feed the holy being you are.

Let guilt not burden your heart: you are becoming innocent.
Let fear fall away. It is your vulnerability that makes you strong.
Let no one pull on you while you are birthing.
Cut the ties to those who wish not to be disturbed.

Recognize yourself for the wild and untamed, never-numb healer-alchemist that you are.

See the future. See it now. And know that what you do makes a difference.
The monsters and machines are made of up millions of tiny broken-hearted people carrying out an agenda that destroys them. They wish to destroy themselves, and they will take with them any who will allow it.  They are not to be feared. They are angry children. We are Mothers, and they deserve a time-out to think about what they have done.

You are not a tantruming child. You are an open-hearted conduit of divine lightening. You will blow the treasure out of the ground right where you stand, and there will be no word spoken against you that holds any breath.
